Meet the team

I joined Connection Capital in December 2019 and work alongside Claire, Steve and Luke on client relationship management and distribution, including establishing new relationships for our growing client base.

I really enjoy the variety of my role that comes with working for a dynamic small company, which affords me the opportunity to make lots of interesting connections, extending into areas such as building potential non-executive relationships for our portfolio businesses, highlighting new investment opportunities to various other parts of business development.

Starting my career in financial services 20 years ago, I have held a variety of different positions starting at Lloyds in 2001. I moved into small-caps and private equity from 2007, with an emphasis on working with private and professional investors, which has continued since.

In 2013 I founded an alternative finance platform focused on providing debt finance to both quoted and private businesses. More recently, working as an M&A consultant at Interactive Investor, an online investment platform with approximately £30bn assets under administration and 300,000 customers.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m a new, but passionate runner and have completed a few marathons and hope to continue until my body prevents me! I also like most other sports, albeit with a preference of watching from the comfort of my sofa!
