Meet the team

I joined Connection Capital in April 2022 as a Senior Marketing Executive. I'm responsible for supporting the implementation of our marketing strategy across multiple channels online and offline.

My job is extremely varied which means that no two days are ever the same. During our peak season, a typical workday involves managing the launch of our deals and fundraises from start to finish. This includes content creation, developing email campaigns, website and portal management, and more. Other days can be copywriting and social media focused with the occasional PR meeting or brainstorm session with our media agency - if you can't already tell, this stuff excites me! 

My love for Marketing began in the final year of my undergrad program in 2013 and developed whilst completing my postgrad in E-marketing, Mobile, and Social Media two years later. During this time, I landed an SEO internship and continued to learn and upskill in more specialised areas including web design, html, and digital analytics.

Since then, I've had the opportunity to work for Bluestone Mortgages and most recently, DC Advisory, as an Associate within their international marketing function. This pivoted me into the world of Banking and Finance Marketing and laid the foundation for my career today as a Senior Marketing Executive at Connection Capital.

In my spare time, I run an all-girls book-brunch club and enjoy reading fantasy novels like Children of Blood and Bone. Outside of being a foodie, quality time with my loved ones is important to me, so my weekends are reserved for catch-ups with friends and family. I'm also a huge '90s RnB music fan which means you'll always catch a classic hit on my vinyl player - that's if I'm not at a concert or Amapiano festival!
