Seasoned capital-raising specialist joins to broaden institutional and family office engagement.
Connection Capital has appointed Joe Samuel as Head of Business Development, a newly created role supporting the continued expansion of the firm’s private markets offering. Joe will focus on deepening and broadening Connection Capital’s relationships with family offices and institutional investors as demand for access to private markets continues to rise. This growing interest reflects a wider trend among investors seeking diversification, inflation protection and opportunities beyond traditional asset classes.
Joe brings more than two decades of experience across the legal and financial sectors, having held senior positions at LendInvest, Baresquare and S&B Consultancy Services. His career has centred on capital raising, fund structuring and investor relations, working with leading private market managers and helping to launch, grow and advise funds and businesses internationally. He has built an extensive global network of clients and contacts across more than 100 countries, spanning five continents.
