The fund manager

Established in 2009, Five Arrows is the private equity arm of Rothschild & Co. It operates independently while benefiting from Rothschild's global platform and institutional infrastructure. With €27.2bn AUM across private equity and debt, it has built a reputation for disciplined investment strategies and consistent performance.

Fund strategy

The fund targets scalable businesses with strong market positions, recurring revenues, and sustainable margins. It invests equity tickets of €30m–€100m into companies generating €5m–€15m EBITDA, aiming for transformational growth through operational improvements, international expansion, and strategic M&A.

Investment rationale

FAGP II presented a rare opportunity to access international lower mid-market buyouts in high-growth, asset-light sectors with a manager boasting a top-decile track record.

Its highly skilled and well-resourced team enables hands-on value creation and enhances the scalability and resilience of portfolio companies.

The fund’s transatlantic strategy increases the pipeline of quality deals and exit opportunities. Combined with its proven ability to drive organic growth and execute M&A, FAGP II is well positioned to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns.
